****New Updates in Tao Nan****

Hello again fellow Taonanites and Ex-Taonanites!
Sorry for not updating this blog for a long time.I've been busy with the upcoming exams.
Anyway,here are just some important events in school.

1) Time Capsule
==> In conjunction with the Carnival of the Century, Tao Nan is going to have a Time Capsule, which will contain 100 items in it, and it will be placed in the History Gallery ( located at Block B, near the Counselling room and MRL) This chest will be a semi- vacuum I think, which means most air will be removed from the chest to prevent the items within from decomposing. This chest will then be opened 20 years later, which is in 2026.We will most probably be informed of when to go back to school to witness the opening of the Time Capsule.
All classes have been given a construction paper, on which each class will come up with something to do on it.You are allowed to use both sides. It can be photos of every individual or art pieces etc. If you want to submit something that brings back memories of Tao Nan to be put in the Time Capsule, you can look for Ms Delisa Ng.Then the memories will be sealed within the Time Capsule and opened 20 years later.

2) PSLE & SA2 Examinations
==> The dates of the PSLE written papers are as follows:

English Paper 1 ( Composition and Situational Writing)

3) Carnival of the Century
==> Sales of coupons are closed. Please purchase them at $10 each on the day itself. The Carnival of the Century will be held on 4th November 2006 , 4 days before the actual day of Tao Nan's 100th Birthday, from 9 am - 5 pm. Please refer to my previous post below. Thanks.
