"Yong Yuen Cheng, Kho Hao Yuan, John Tham, Soh Kian Hong, Daniel Seng and Neo Lay Peng clocked 29 hours and 25 minutes to officially set a national record at the finish yesterday in the Round Singapore Canoeing Challenge 2006. Paddling to raise money for the Diabetic Society of Singapore, the six canoeists battled choppy waters at kranji before finishing two hours ahead of schedule at Kallang."
